Accumet Promotes Diana Toruno to General Manager

Devens, MA – June 25, 2025 – Accumet Engineering Inc. (Accumet), a leader in advanced process manufacturing including ultra-precision laser services, exceptional lapping and polishing and expert materials engineering, has announced the promotion of Diana Toruno to General Manager. A long-serving manufacturing expert at the company, Toruno brings decades of experience in precision manufacturing operations. Her leadership has been integral to maintaining and growing Accumet’s technical and manufacturing capabilities and advancing its quality-first manufacturing culture.

Diana is the embodiment of the American success story. Originally from Colombia, she began her journey at Accumet in the processing department and had steadily advanced by embracing greater technical and managerial responsibilities at every step. Diana honed her expertise as a laser operator before successfully overseeing our lapping and polishing operations. Her leadership skills and deep technical knowledge propelled her to roles as Production Manager, and, ultimately, Manager of Research and Development. Over the years, Diana has tackled complex technical challenges and provided countless innovative solutions, earning her a reputation as an exceptionally skilled and trusted leader within our organization.

Toruno takes the helm at a critical time, as Accumet continues to optimize production capabilities at its expansive Devens, Massachusetts facility. Purpose-built to support high-volume, high-precision work, the facility houses advanced laser machining systems, lapping and polishing lines, laser cutting , welding and marking systems, and fully integrated quality control infrastructure—all designed to meet the complex demands of high-tech industries.  Diana was also extremely instrumental in the design and construction of Accumet’s new facility.
