We've merged our two brands Accumet Engineering, Corp. and Laser Services, Inc. recently under the name Accumet to provide a one-stop, unified point-of-contact for a multitude of project and program requirements. We will stock your ceramic substrates, metals, tubes, foils, adhesives, frozen epoxies, plastics, RF absorbers, EMI materials, etc., and will also provide valued-added secondary processing and assembly services to help optimize your supply chain. Accumet’s secondary capabilities include od/id grinding, tumbling, mechanical assembly, painting, packaging, and delivery services. You can also tap into our filled-via planarity process to reduce back and forth shipments for various steps in your circuit manufacturing process.

We're diligent about digitally documenting every job at every stage to ensure both lot-to-lot repeatability, and long term dependability in the field. Accumet's manufacturing facility in Westford, MA (formerly called Laser Services, Inc.) is now also Accumet 's corporate headquarters, and it is AS:9100:2015 registered. (Certificate registration No: 16677 issued October 30, 2016 by The National Quality Assurance, U.S.A.) Accumet's Hudson, MA facility will continue to be a processing operation and will soon complete its own ISO registration. The certficate will then cover both operations under the corporate entity of Accumet Engineering, Corp.
As part of our ongoing commitment to ISO and AS 9100 standards, our Laser Services facility has recently implemented new, advanced modules in our MRP software solution, E2. Every step in our design/production process, from purchase orders to production and shipping, is now monitored and controlled through a custom developed MRP scheduling component in E2. This software component has been augmented by extensive training of team members, and gives us greater foresight to predict pipeline challenges and inventory needs. It's help us achieve a dramatic increase in on-time deliveries. Our Hudson facility is undergoing similar upgrades.
Accumet's test and measurement equipment list includes our new Dragon Fire SPI-150 grazing incidence interferometer, which is capable of measuring flatness to twenty millionths of an inch (.000020''). Our Dragon Fire TS-150 Triangular sensor instrument is capable of measuring flatness from .0009'' (25 microns) to two millimeters (.0787''). These pieces of equipment allow Accumet to measure flatness from 20 millionths through two millimeters to provide optimal control over surface finishes and parallelism. Other test and measurement equipment used in daily operations includes micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, optical comparators, microscopes, and surface analyzers, to name a few.
