What is your role at Accumet?
Hired for the roll of Tech Support Technician. I was trained to disassemble the lasers and machinery in Westford , Transport the machines to Devens location and build and design all of the systems associated with each machine. With my eyes for neatness I spend a good portion of each day cleaning and doing anything I can to make the operators work space more efficient. Lasty, when machines break, I troubleshoot the problems, and go to work to get the machine up and running again.
What is your background?
Grew up in a family of fishermen, went to Massachusetts Maritime Academy and studied Marine Engineering. Graduated and got a job operating a power plant. Then a job on an offshore oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico as an engineer. I'm also a licensed charter boat captain and spend as much of my free time out in nature.
